ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT required to join the AUSPAN team working in our Canning Vale office. This unique opportunity is open for a motivated individual to implement innovative strategies to support our business activities.

Summary: The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for undertaking various accounting activities that support business operations.
The Main Responsibilities Would Include: Perform daily bank reconciliations with precision and timeliness.End-to-end management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and assist with month-end accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.Support internal and external audit processes.Drive process improvement initiatives and technology adoption.Develop and maintain internal process documentation.Manage daily and monthly cash flow models, contributing to debtor and creditor account management.About You – Skills and Experience Our ideal candidate is someone who can bring the following to the role:
Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures.Understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations and reporting requirements.Understanding of Australian Taxation system.Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.Proven experience in the use of accounting software and ERP systems.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Procore experience advantageous.Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude.Experience in manufacturing, logistics and/or construction advantageous.Proactive and autonomous.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.CA or CPA preferred (can be working towards).Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.What we can offer: A generous salary package and allowances.Access to our Employee Assistance Program.Positive workplace culture.Access to the company-wide profit-share bonus.About Us: AUSPAN Group is a WA family-owned D&C building company, with a successful track record of delivering buildings for agricultural, industrial, commercial & mining clients.
