You are motivated, and passionate about actively contributing to business objectives.
You will be managed by the Finance Manager who will provide support and mentoring in this role.
Your main responsibilities will include Assist and provide analysis in the preparation of high quality, timely financial reporting and balance sheets for the assigned Business Units Assist budgets preparation for the assigned Business Units; working with the department head and General Manager to ensure budgets reflect the business plans Prepare accurate reconciliations for all businesses/Divisions under your ownership, ensuring all back up documentation is correct and present. Month end close including accruals and pre-payments Grant accounting and government project accounting Preparation and submission of BAS and other ATO requirements Skills and Experience Tertiary qualifications in Accounting CA/CPA is highly desirable Previous experience in a Financial and Accounting role Power BI knowledge, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organised, efficient with great attention to detail Exceptional communication and interpersonal and relationship management skills Proven experience in ERP (D365 experience is highly desirable but not essential) About ALPA We are the Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA).
