About the Role We are looking for an Assistant Accountant with the right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn.
In this role you will assist the Accountant in carrying out various professional accounting duties, including but not limited to account and bank reconciliations, processing of payments, general ledger distributions and adjustments, improvements and projects relating to Financial Accounting, FBT reporting as well as support and back up to Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable team.
The successful applicant will have recently completed an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce or be close to completion.
You will have strong attention to detail with a collaborative approach to your work.
Key Responsibilities Daily banking processingAssisting with FBTAssisting with AASB16 Lease Accounting ReviewsGeneral Ledger reconciliationsPreparation of ABS SurveysPreparation of GST/BASMaintenance of SAP Internal Orders (including Phones, Motor Vehicles and Staff)End of month tasksMaintaining Prepayment schedulesEnd to end process for International SuppliersAssist with interim and annual auditGenerate monthly AR invoicesExpenseMe imports to SAPAged Debtors & Creditors ReportingNew Zealand Intercompany monthly reconciliationInternational AP Supplier portfolio end to endProvide back-up to Accounts Payable functionProvide back-up to Accounts Receivable functionProvide back-up to AccountantQualifications: Recently completed an Undergraduate degree (Accounting, Finance or Commerce)Strong numerical and analytical skills.Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise and consult with key contacts and stakeholders.Prior work experience will be highly regarded.What do we offer?
