Position: Assistant Accountant (12-month fixed term) Contracted Hours: Part Time, 30 hours per week As a highly organized and detailed oriented Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our company's financial operations. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless finance and accounts processes, maintaining accuracy, and adhering to relevant regulations. Responsibilities: Reconcile Balance Sheet for accurate financial data. Manage Accounts Receivable: handle invoicing, collections, and resolve discrepancies. Offer ad hoc reporting and system implementation support, ensuring smooth transition and issue resolution. Maintain Fixed Asset Register: record, depreciate, and reconcile assets. Backup for payroll processing to ensure operational continuity. Support Accounts Payable: assist with invoice processing and vendor management as needed. Provide general administrative support, including reception coverage and staying updated on payroll, superannuation, and finance-related legislation. Qualifications: A proven track record in Administration, Accounts, finance and/or Payroll. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong multitasking abilities and keen attention to detail. A desire for long-term career growth and development within our company. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience with an ERP system is an advantage.
