Assistant Accountant

We have a new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant in Bunbury.
Reporting to South West Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the information in the P&L's is accurate. Communication with all Stakeholders will be critical to this role to meet end of month deadlines!
Specific Responsibilities

Managing the P&L and balance sheet information is accurate Analyse financial data and monitor KPI's Supervise the input and handling of data into the financial system Ensure all other input to the central accounting system are received and processed in an accurate and timely manner Meet month end reporting deadlines Balance sheet reconciliations Raise & issue debtor invoices Prepare weekly forecasts, consolidate results to meet forecasting deadlines Prepare annual budgets Identify, assess and report all known and newly identified hazards and incidents in the workplace Implement effective risk controls Participate in the monitoring, review and evaluation of implemented risk controls Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting role Accounting degree. Preferable CPA or CA qualified or studying towards qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people Advanced skills using Microsoft Office and Excel Ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution High organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment Ability to work well within a small team environment If this sounds like the job for you please "Apply Now" or call Mel for a confidential discussion.
