Assistant Accountant - Healthcare

Temp to permanent opportunity Month-end support, fixed assets and other tasks to support the FM Healthcare organisation North Shore location, paying $90K + Super Assistant Accountant - Healthcare - North Shore Company Background Our client has been supporting the community through specialised healthcare services for over 100 years. They have strong values and ethics, and a holistic attitude to health. You would be working with some very experienced finance leaders, with a wealth of experience in this sector. The Role This role has been created to support the CFO. They are a passionate & an approachable leader. Responsibilities would include: Responsible for the capital expenditure request and approval process, including regular capital expenditure budget and actual reporting, intercompany billings Entry of supplier invoices (capex) into the system Maintain data integrity which includes checking data input, verifying payments to suppliers, costing and GST Liaise with suppliers and business managers regarding invoice queries Performing bank reconciliation and other general ledger account reconciliations Performing period end closing duties for assigned business units Liaise with auditors to support their audit efforts and ensure internal control processes are functioning as intended Your Background We are looking for Assistant Accountants who can ideally start immediately.
