Dedicated to fostering academic excellence and providing a holistic education in a caring, inclusive environment, this school takes pride in nurturing students' academic, cultural, and sporting pursuits.The Role:Start - as soon as possibleFull-time, permanentEnsure accurate and timely payroll processing.Approve timesheets, review payroll reports, and ensure compliance with reporting deadlines.Handle monthly superannuation payments, new employee notifications, terminations, and report reconciliations.Manage PAYG withholding, TFN declarations, and provide required information to the ATO.Oversee salary packaging payments, government payments, and other payroll disbursements with precision.Lead training on KRONOS, write, test, and maintain system rules, and conduct audits to ensure payroll accuracy.Implement and manage overtime controls, reporting hours and associated costs efficiently.Monitor and address emerging payroll and employee benefits issues.Communicate and negotiate pay rules with line managers to ensure organisational compliance.Reconcile payroll costs to the General Ledger via TASS and oversee the Salary Clearing account monthly.Liaise with staff and Leadership on payroll matters, entitlements, and employment changes.Assist Leadership in preparing the annual staff establishment budget.Support auditors with payroll system testing and ensure legislative and compliance adherence.Prepare payroll-related ABS statistics and reports as required.Provide payroll information to Leadership to prepare for annual reporting.Benefits:Great location in Brisbane - with parking!
