Deeside Timberframe, one of the UK's leading timberframe design, manufacture and installation companies, have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join their busy and expanding finance team.

Role Reporting to the Finance Director you will support with the monthly management accounts, cash forecasts, and preparation of audit information.
Key responsibilities: Stock allocations and reconciliations, including system improvement work.Supporting the QS team with credit control and contract performance reporting, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance.Allocating cash book receipts and payments and carrying out bank reconciliations.Recording payment certificates, timely production of invoices and debt management reporting.Assisting with preparation of fortnightly cash forecasts.Assisting with regulatory compliance – monthly VAT reconciliations, PAYE, CIS etc.Weekly payroll reconciliations and journal posting.Developing the quarterly carbon reporting process.Involvement with upgrade to MS Business Central system and ongoing systems development projects.Assisting with managing fleet, fuel cards, insurance etc.Preparation of various Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns.Supporting the development of the purchase ledger team.Liaising with central finance team for Group functions.Qualifications and experience: Part-qualified AccountantExperience working in a manufacturing business is desirableProficient in Excel (and wider MS office suite)Personal attributes: Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organisational abilitySelf-motivated with ambition to develop in the roleStrong interpersonal and communication skillsEager to put forward improvement suggestions and drive the implementation of new initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
