ABOUT THE ROLEQudos Bank Arena, one of Australia's premier entertainment venues, is seeking a skilled and motivated Asset Manager to join our team.
This key role is essential to maintaining the quality and functionality of our venue by overseeing the maintenance and repair of assets.
This is your chance to bring your expertise in asset management and your passion for live entertainment to help us deliver exceptional experiences for everyone, from global superstars to enthusiastic fans.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)Oversee the effective management of the Assets Department, ensuring its smooth operation and success.Establish and achieve key performance indicators and targets for the department as outlined in the annual business plan.Manage all financial aspects of the Assets Department, including budget control, business planning, purchasing, and forecasting.Ensure compliance with Sydney Olympic Park Authority (SOPA) Project Agreement requirements related to Arena assets, including the timely preparation and submission of the Annual Operations and Maintenance Plan (OAMP).Take responsibility for all aspects of building services, including managing external service providers and suppliers, maintenance programs, compliance, housekeeping of service areas, required modifications, staff management, and cleaning/presentation services.Administer the electronic Facility Asset Management System (FAMS), currently FMX, including job orders, the asset register (capturing/monitoring procurements and disposals), lifecycle costing, and related activities.Develop and maintain weekly, annual, and long-term maintenance schedules, assign responsibilities to staff and service providers, and ensure proper completion and verification of all work performed.ABOUT YOUExtensive knowledge and experience with Building Management Computer Systems.In-depth understanding and expertise in building maintenance processes and systems.Proficiency in developing and implementing maintenance timetables and schedules.Strong ability to obtain quotes, analyze data, and secure the best outcomes for the company.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Proven expertise in report writing and experience managing budgets.Advanced proficiency in computer applications and systems.QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCEExperience with BCMS and FAMS is essential.Trade qualifications, particularly in electrical, are highly desirable.Familiarity with Dynalite and C-Bus lighting systems as well as TRANE HVAC systems is an added advantage.Only candidates with current unrestricted Australian working rights will be considered for the role.ABOUT QUDOS BANK ARENAQudos Bank Arena is Australia's #1 entertainment venue.
