Maintenance (Engineering) Other (Education & Training) Full time Salary: $91,642 to $116,253 pa + 17% super + 6 weeks leave Continuing, full time appointment – 2 Positions Professional Level 7/8 - $91,642 – $116,253 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus Position Overview As the Assets & Engineering Officer, you will support the Manager Assets and Engineering to develop systems, programs, and plans to maintain university compliance with legislative and regulatory standards utilizing established industry frameworks and methodologies.
You will also implement service delivery contracts with suitable contractors and assist with the monitoring and management of those contracts.
This position will undertake building repairs and maintenance, including building asset management, data collection, condition inspections, assessments, and recommendations for allocation of works.
About You To be successful, you will require: A strong background in the building services industry, construction, and/or facilities management.
Ability to work in a team environment with a strong focus on service delivery to clients and an emphasis on continuous improvement.
A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal clients and external contractors.
Demonstrated experience in reviewing and developing contracts and tenders.
Demonstrated ability to review contractor performance against key performance clauses in contracts.
Understanding of the regulatory and legislative environment in which asset management operates, focusing on Work Health and Safety.
Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional level 7/8.
The base salary will be in the range of $91,642 - $116,253 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $107,221 - $136,016 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
