About the Opportunity Working in the Infrastructure Program, the Asset System Administration & Project Capitalisation Officer will collaborate across the broader business to achieve collective outcomes and be flexible in supporting the Infrastructure program in line with Asset Management principles.
You will manage the "end to end" processes of asset information, generated by capital projects (Work in Progress - WIP) and asset criteria, from data capture through to a mature state ready for utilisation, ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, completeness, and integrity.
Some of the day-to-day things you'll see yourself doing are: Documenting the Asset Management System current state and next stage requirements regarding work orders and field-based transactions.
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external organisations to update Council's integrated asset management system with relevant data including third-party annual work programs.
Assist in the development of Cost Models for the various Asset Categories associated with Capital Expenditure also known as Work In Progress (CapEx/WIP) and Total Cost of Ownership models.
Document and maintain process libraries for all business processes and functions related to this role for auditing and quality assurance.
Ensure the technical standards in relation to the Asset Management System (AMS) are created and reviewed and underpin the operational requirements of service.
About You To be successful in this role you may have: Strong data management skills including detail knowledge of data quality assurance and quality control.
High level of proficiency in Excel (including knowledge of Power Query) and Word.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand standard financial realities and reporting, including budgeting, profit and loss, cost benefit analysis and forecasting / projections.
Experience in process documentation and knowledge of asset valuation/financial systems.
