The role is responsible for monitoring and reporting on contractor and consultant performance in the delivery of water and sewerage infrastructure to construction specifications and industry standards as well as reporting on effective implementation of contractor's and consultant's quality management systems including safe systems of work, asset quality management and environmental management.

Your key responsibilities
The role is field-based, largely servicing the metropolitan growth in Melbourne's east and north, whilst also servicing works across the entirety of Yarra Valley Water's service area. The successful applicant will be required to drive between multiple construction sites per day.
Other key responsibilities include contributing to project teams for design input, constructability advice and liaison between field and office-based staff, industry partners and stakeholders. The role also involves a high focus on building strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across an exciting variety of projects including developer constructed assets and the Yarra Valley Water capital delivery programme encompassing critical supply mains, pump stations, tanks/reservoirs, treatment plant upgrades, pressure management assets and renewable energy infrastructure.
What we are looking for
An Associate Diploma or equivalent qualifications with some relevant construction experience, highly desirable.
Minimum of 6 years of related water industry construction/auditing experience, highly regarded.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of MRWA WSAA Standards.
Sewerage installation and Water pipelaying courses, desirable.
Strong attention to detail.
