Bowen Rail Company is growing its Network team. We have an exciting new opportunity for an Asset Performance Coordinator to join our team in Bowen North Queensland. Reporting to the Asset Management Principal (Network), in this role you will analyse and report on the performance of Network assets to drive the delivery of financially sustainable asset lifecycle practices that are compliant against best-practice asset management frameworks and regulations. 
Key Accountabilities:  Safety Leadership: Set the standard for safety at Bowen Rail Company. Demonstrate visible safety leadership in line with the values. Provide support to the Network Team through the monitoring and reporting of asset performance and compliance. Perform asset lifecycle modelling to inform short, medium, and long-term maintenance and renewal strategies linked to annual budgets and forecasting. Provide advice to the Network Team to ensure works are conducted with respect to the obligations through existing agreements with other parties. Review and provide technical advice on the impact to Network assets from operators and other 3rd-party works. Ensure all new and donated assets are scoped to meet relevant industry standards with consideration to cost-effective whole-of-life management of the asset. Assist to develop, review and update asset management documents to meet standards and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Drive improvement initiatives for enhanced performance of Network assets. Ensure efficient and timely delivery of asset management projects, where required. Provide support to the Network team for preparation of end-of-month financial reports and accruals. Data entry where required (defects, notifications in SAP). Should you ASPIRE to join our team, you will bring:  SARC - Safely Access the Rail Corridor (Nationally Accredited) or ability to obtain RIW Card (Rail Industry Worker Identification) or ability to obtain Demonstrated experience in asset management frameworks and/or asset management lifecycle modelling Available to underate field-based asset information gathering trips requiring additional training and inductions Computer proficient (advanced Microsoft Office, computerized maintenance management systems) Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as a part of a team. Attention to detail, with emphasis on accuracy and productivity. Effective time management, organisation and ability to multi-task.
