The Asset Manager is integral to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and performance of asset management systems. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Asset Manager will oversee technical support, environmental sustainability initiatives, building certification, and fire safety compliance. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, managing risks, and driving efficiencies across asset management processes.
Minimum Requirements: Trade qualified – essential – preferable Electrical Diploma in engineering – Mechanical or Electrical At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in the FM industry, with proven expertise in electrical and generation infrastructure and network operations. A comprehensive understanding of contemporary energy management, environmental and sustainability principles, practices, and legislation. Strong asset management skills and a thorough understanding of both best practices and emerging trends. Demonstrated experience in the development and deployment of maintenance and operating systems, procedures, and policies. Proven leadership experience in overseeing contractors and managing staff. Experience in renewable energy projects, substations, or electrical utilities is advantageous. Strong technical knowledge of asset management systems and processes. Experience in environmental management, including energy and utility management. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities related to infrastructure and maintenance. In-depth understanding of fire safety regulations and compliance.
