We are hiring an Asset Management Engineer who will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Neoen's internal Asset Management team of large-scale renewable energy project, on a full-time employment basis.
Neoen Australia's operating portfolio of wind, solar and BESS assets will exceed 3GW by 2025. The Asset Management team becomes involved in a project towards the end of its construction, and manages the asset from transition into operations through to end of life. The Asset Management team is accountable for the performance all of Neoen Australia's operating assets, including technical performance, long term integrity assurance, compliance, health and safety, community engagement, and improvement and optimisation. The Asset Management team is further supported by in-house specialist teams including the Operations and Control Centre, Energy Management, Network Connections, Health and Safety, Information Technology, Financial Control, and the Neoen global Competence Centre.
The Asset Management team has grown rapidly in recent years as Neoen brings more assets into operation. This growth has created the need for an Asset Management Engineer who will assist Asset Managers with a range of tasks. These may include implementation of system and process improvements, optimisation and automation of routine tasks such as reporting and performance analysis, and involvement in the general day to day operation of large scale renewable energy assets.
Key to success in this role will be a strong analytics capability, coupled with the ability to succinctly communicate findings. Fast learning, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are also highly valued. In return the role will give direct involvement in the operation of one of Australia's largest and most diverse large scale renewable energy portfolios, and offer fast-track learning of the skills required to ultimately take on management of a renewable energy asset. The role will also provide exposure to a wide range of other career opportunities in renewable energy.
The position is based in Neoen's Canberra office, reports to the Canberra based Senior Asset Manager.

The role will directly interface withinternal teams across the organisation, including:
