Understanding the needs of the community has helped establish IntoWork Australia as a preferred choice for employers, organizations, individuals, and government.The Role:The Asset & Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing IntoWork's whole-of-business asset management lifecycle and for maturing the asset maintenance frameworks and activities across the business. The Asset Maintenance Manager will oversee delivery of reactive, proactive and project maintenance activities across our property and plant & equipment needs.Duties Included:Lead growth in the maturity of the asset maintenance function of IntoWork Australia.Manage maintenance contractors and direct employees a broad array of capital and asset maintenance requirements.Negotiate with external maintenance suppliers to ensure the maintenance costs are being managed appropriately.Oversee management of all maintenance suppliers to ensure value for money, availability, effectiveness and create a preferred maintenance list of suppliers which will ensure appropriate delivery of maintenance services within suitable timeframes and budgetary guidelines.Responsible for Head Office cleaning and security requirements including contract and vendor management.Inspect and evaluate physical plants, grounds, and related equipment to ensure all are operating effectively and in good repair.Support asset investment decision making and acquisition needs.Develop an asset strategy in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders which identifies asset life cycle analysis and costing.Knowledge of legislative and statutory obligations in relation to the role.About You:At least 5 years proven experience in a senior Asset Management, Asset Maintenance or other related leadership position.High level communication skills - verbal and written.Ability to handle conflicts or challenging situations confidently and professionally.Good organizational skills and forward planning.Ability to keep track of reports and operational activity.Well-developed organizational and leadership skills.Ability to utilize available resources effectively.Please note: This is a 6-month temp position within the Property Assets and Insurance Shared Service. There is a strong chance the role could become permanent.Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia.
