That's refreshing.Together, we can shape a new way forward – solving problems and creating change like never before.Join us in the driver's seat by providing technical hands-on asset inspection services in accordance with the Asset Inspection Manual and other appropriate documentation. All services must be performed with a strong emphasis on accurately reporting on any components, features, and assets that need maintenance.This role is based in Lilydale and is part of the Asset Inspection team.This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:Provide asset inspection services on the AusNet Services distribution network and customer distribution networks as required.Actively participate in and be responsible for personal and team member's health and safety on the job.Adhere to the 4111-1 Asset Inspection Manual requirements.Regularly and methodically conduct detailed examinations of the distribution and sub transmission overhead line systems with a high degree of accuracy.Report on any components or other features and assets which require maintenance.Take digital photographs of assets in accordance with company procedures.Carry out specified preservative treatments and minor maintenance tasks as required by network management.Ensure all equipment including vehicles, plant and materials are maintained in a clean, well maintained and generally good working order.Develop and maintain good customer relations within and outside the company.Actively participate in mandatory and company authorised training programs.Develop a working knowledge of the quality system procedures, and where appropriate actively apply these to your area of responsibility.Be innovative toward and actively participate in improved asset inspection methods.Perform other duties as directed by company management from time to time.You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:Certificate II in Asset Inspection is mandatory.Demonstrated success in the role of Asset Inspector and the ability to work with minimal supervision.VESI Mandatory Skills and Training requirements for an Asset Inspector.Adaptability to changing environments and working conditions.Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.Exposure to working closely with key internal customers and suppliers across all levels.Sufficient operational hands-on experience in area of expertise to build and maintain credibility across stakeholder groups.High level of personal drive including demonstrated success in delivering results against KPI's.Willingness to complete training courses as required.A real place to belongWe celebrate unique voices, refreshing perspectives and diversity in our team.
