You will inspect, test and assess the condition of electrical power poles and lines throughout Victoria.This position provides an opportunity to be trained and become qualified in a unique scanning technology that is unrivaled, non-invasive and exclusive to Omexom.Key Duties/ResponsibilitiesInspection and reporting for powerline distribution assetsBushfire mitigation identification and reportingPerform all works associated with the asset inspection contract in a timely and safe mannerExperience in and ability to develop and maintain good customer relationsEnsure all equipment and materials are maintained and in good working orderProvide timely reporting as required on work progress, quality standards and work practices as required by both Omexom and its ClientEnsure the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance are achievedAbility to live away in work locations regularly, but home each weekend, with allowance paid for living away on top of standard ratesSkills/ExperienceCertificate II in Asset InspectionAll current relevant VESI training certificatesSound knowledge of asset inspection principles and techniquesA thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirementsConstruction Industry White CardCurrent Driver's LicenseAbility to work autonomously and unsupervisedPre-Employment RequirementsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test.You will be enthusiastic, motivated and willing to continually develop both professionally and personally.
