We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning individual who enjoys working outdoors to join our Operations team at our branch in Newcastle, 2290.
Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
In this role, we are looking for someone with high attention to detail, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for change.
In this hands-on role, your key responsibilities would include: Booking in a range of Trucks / Machinery by taking photos, entering make/model descriptions and details onto our user-friendly auction system via iPad Locate, move, (using a forklift), damaged motor vehicles and record the movements of all vehicles Conduct daily prestart forklift checks, basic maintenance checks, and complete forklift logbooks to ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner.
Load/unload trucks and vehicles / Equipment efficiently to ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
Maintain a safe work environment and following all WHS policies and procedures ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience: Passion for Trucks / Machinery - experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded Current & valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual (essential) Current forklift license is essential Attention to detail Competent verbal & written communication skills Basic computer skills/ability to use an iPad Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines Keen interest in being part of a strong and healthy workplace culture Looking for a role with self-development and career opportunities The successful candidate must be willing to work occasional overtime on weekdays where required.
