Rich River Golf Club is an iconic sporting club on the Murray River. Situated in Moama NSW just across the border from Echuca, the Club boasts two championship golf courses amongst its sporting facilities, a 64-room motel and a newly renovated and impressive Club facility with extensive food and beverage operations, a function centre, a large gaming room, mini golf course and 51-allotment real estate development.
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Asset Development & Project Manager to join our senior management team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. This new and exciting role will see the successful applicant join the Club during a time of exciting new future developments.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the management, execution and delivery of capital development projects at the Club. You will bring extensive experience and knowledge in this space and successfully drive and deliver key objectives.
Key Tasks and Duties: Project planning.Project design and approval – oversee the design and approval process of projects in conjunction with project partners and project team.Oversee tender processes including formulation of tender documents, liaison and negotiation with tenderers, reporting and engagement.Manage and oversee progress of projects including contractor management and liaison, stakeholder management and communication.Deliver and execute projects in accordance with agreed timeframe, budget and Club expectations.Report on progress and financial cost of projects to senior management team, CEO and Board of Directors.Ensure delivery of projects and works undertaken in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety standards and legislation.Designing and managing risk mitigation plan to ensure that risks are identified and managed to acceptable levels.Co-ordination and liaison of staff and internal resources as required.The successful candidate will have proven experience in similar project management roles and possess the following:
Exceptional communication skills.Ability to influence and manage people and teams effectively.Manage time effectively, be able to prioritise and take initiative.Demonstrated experience in negotiation together with commercial and business acumen.Strong problem-solving skills.Relocation package may be considered for the successful candidate.
