Our vacancy The purpose of this role is to support the Commercial and Asset Management functions in enhancing asset performance, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations, and maintaining Foresight's knowledge of the energy market. Supporting our Commercial Managers and Asset Managers in Melbourne and Sydney, you will apply your techno-commercial knowledge and analytical skills, across all of the renewable assets, to help identify opportunities to improve operating performance. Your interest in the Australian electricity market will be put to good use as you assist our commercial team to identify market opportunities (e.g. PPAs) and emerging risks.
You will have the opportunity to either work in our beautiful Collins Street Melbourne office, or our Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities: Compile asset performance data into reports for executives and investors in Australia and the UK.Complete generation forecasting and assist in the development of asset budgets.Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations across the portfolio.Maintain knowledge of the energy market and identify threats and opportunities. Complete analysis to deliver insights in support of asset decisions.Assist asset managers in maximising the value of renewable assets. Perfect candidate profile A high energy professional who is interested in a career that focuses on asset management of sustainable investments2-3 experience in years within an asset operator, service or consulting business Degree in Engineering or FinanceStrong analytical skills with the ability to distil and communicate complex themesFinancial modelling skills would be highly regarded Experience in the energy sector is preferredPassion for the renewable energy sector and a positive mindset.
