Job details About the Client Our client specializes in resource recovery, combining years of experience with innovative thinking and processes to revolutionize construction and demolition waste handling in Queensland. Their aim is to become Queensland's leading recycled construction materials producer, providing a quality alternative to virgin quarried material like road base, aggregates and soils.
What you will be doing The Asset and Maintenance Planner will help develop and implement maintenance strategies to extend equipment life cycles, reduce unplanned repairs, and minimize downtime. You will:
Manage the CMMS system Coordinate with suppliers and contractors Maintain detailed schedules Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize tasks and ensure the timely delivery of parts What you will need To be successful in this role, you would need to have proven experience as an asset and maintenance planner, developing and managing an asset management plan as well as:
Tertiary qualifications desirable or equivalent work experience Trade qualification in either Mechanical, Heavy-Duty or similar Minimum 2 years previous experience in an Asset and Facilities position Supervisory experience within a Workshop or Machinery Repair environment Advanced competency across the Microsoft Suite An understanding of budgeting processes and good analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Advanced report writing skills Ability to work autonomously with well-developed time management and organisational skills Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment Sound knowledge/experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Dynapac, Isuzu, Hino, and Volvo equipment (highly regarded) Your role will include: The asset and maintenance planner is responsible for:
Developing and monitoring work schedules to support the delivery of preventative maintenance on the clients' assets and facilities Establishing, documenting, and implementing strategies and plans to support fixed plant life cycles Building a preventive maintenance culture on mobile and fixed plant equipment Reducing unplanned repairs and breakdowns and maximizing cost benefits by developing, implementing, and maintaining the requirement framework, tools, processes, and procedures Working with the operations and maintenance teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop strategies to minimize plant and equipment downtime Developing and maintaining a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all plants and equipment Implementing system (CMMS) with expert advice and support Apply now!
