Description: Cons Min produces some of the world's highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining.
Our Cons Min Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland.
The Asset Administrator will play an important role in supporting the team to ensure efficient operation and compliance with industry standards.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and maintain accurate asset records.
Reporting to the Principal – Assets, the successful applicant will be required: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all company assets, including equipment, machinery, and vehicles.
Ensure proper documentation for asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and maintenance.
Assist in the preparation of asset inventory reports and audits.
Input and update asset data into the asset management system with precision.
Monitor and ensure data integrity and accuracy in all asset-related records.
Coordinate with various departments on site to gather asset-related information and facilitate asset movements.
Support the Asset Management team with administrative tasks including equipment inspections as and if required.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to asset management.
Monitor and track Long Term asset maintenance schedules to ensure timely reporting and follow up for spares.
Assist in managing the disposal of obsolete assets in accordance with company policies.
Serve as a point of contact for asset-related inquiries and support requests.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth asset operations.
Requirements to be successful in this role are: Min.
2 years' experience in asset administration or similar such as inventory management, or a related field, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Intermediate Excel, Word, Outlook Express) and CMMS like Pronto.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards related to asset management.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
