Our client, a federal government department, is charged with the responsibility for national policies and programs that help deliver a strong and fair society for all Australians. About the Role The Housing and Homelessness Program Delivery Branch within the Department is seeking assessors to assist the 2024 process for the payment of incentives to approved participants of the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS). The Department administers NRAS and, together with states and territory governments, provides annual incentives to NRAS housing providers in relation to NRAS dwellings for periods they are rented to eligible tenants. Your role as the assessor is to review documentation provided by the approved participant to the department, check compliance with requirements, calculate the incentive to be paid and record this in the Departments payment system. Skills and Experience The ability to use Microsoft Office programs including excel. work collaboratively in a team environment. excellent attention to detail is essential. What's on offer. The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 5 month hourly rate contract at the APS4 level. This position is based in Canberra.
