+ superannuation and salary packagingFull-time temporary up to 30/6/25 About the RoleAs an Assessor with the Central Adelaide Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), you'll be a vital part of the aged care journey, conducting comprehensive assessments of aged clients across a variety of community and hospital settings.
Your primary responsibility will be to assess clients' needs using the Integrated Assessment Tool (IAT) and input data accurately into the Aged Care Assessor application and My Aged Care system.
By ensuring a thorough understanding of each client's situation, you'll help them access the right care services, from community care to residential options, in line with their eligibility under the Aged Care Act 1997.In this role, you'll collaborate with clients, carers, health professionals, and service providers, all while ensuring compliance with Aged Care Assessment Programme guidelines, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and legislative requirements.
You'll also participate in education, quality assurance, and evaluation activities, helping shape the future of aged care services.
