Prison Langi Kal KalAn Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity to work with a high-performing and passionate team in the Victorian Public ServiceAbout the Business Unit:Corrections Victoria is a business unit of the Department of Justice & Regulation and is responsible for the management of prisons and community correctional services in Victoria.About the Role:The position of Assessment and Transition Coordinator is situated within the Offender Services Team at each prison.Some of your duties will include:Participating in the development, coordination and delivery of prisoner risk assessment, parole application and pre-release services within a prison locationUndertaking prisoner risk assessments and needs assessments, coordinating prisoner's applications for parole and contribute to the Case Management Review processSupporting the delivery of the CV Reintegration Program at the prison location.About You:As our ideal candidate, you will possess:An understanding of transition and reintegration issues and needs of prisonersThe ability to administer risk assessment tools with individual prisonersThe capacity or aptitude to work with clients who are difficult to engage individually and in group work settingsThe capacity to work collaboratively within a prison setting.How to Apply:Please click the Apply button on this advertisement.
