Role: Assembly & Dispatch SupervisorLocation: DeesideType: PermanentSalary: £34,000 per annumShifts: Monday-Friday (days)Due to continuous growth, Russell Taylor Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assembly & Dispatch Supervisor to join our client's growing Manufacturing company.Responsibilities:Supervise assembly department in accordance with the production schedule issued by Production Control.Regularly review the inventory of bought components and complete stock take sheets when and as required.Coordinate with the production control team regarding the assembly order needs and notify any issues or worries that could threaten the production timeline.Ensure finished product matches expected quality standards.Allocate/book completed works orders on ERP system.Supervise the packaging of finished goods.Ensure all products are marked correctly and ready for dispatch, ensuring all correct paperwork is completed.Coordinate requirements with other departments, keep the operations manager informed about workflow, and make sure KPIs are maintained.Induct new employees and provide on-the-job training.Interact with team members to resolve problems, suggest improvement methods of working, and provide feedback on performance.The Person:Previous experience in a similar role.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.Experience with ERP systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
