Due to continuous growth, Russell Taylor Group has an exciting opportunity for an Assembly & Dispatch Supervisor to join our client's growing Manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:Supervise assembly department in accordance with the production schedule issued by Production ControlRegularly review the inventory of bought components and complete stock take sheets when and as requiredCoordinate with the production control team regarding the assembly order needs and notify any issues or worries that could threaten the production timelineEnsuring finished product matches expected quality standardAllocate / book completed works orders on ERP systemSupervise the packaging of finished goodsEnsure all products are marked correctly and ready for dispatch, ensuring all correct paperwork is completedCoordinate requirements with other departments, keep the operations manager informed about workflow, and make sure KPIs are maintainedInduct new employees and provide on-the-job trainingInteract with team members to resolve problems, suggest improvement methods of working, and provide feedback on performanceThe person:Previous experience in a similar roleFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principlesExperience with ERP systemsExcellent verbal and written communication Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
