The role: Following an internal promotion and movement within our team, we are now seeking someone passionate about learning and developing their knowledge, excited about challenging themselves, and who has a positive and proactive attitude, to join our Melbourne based Production Team in the position of, Assembly and Repair Technician.
Reporting to the Senior Assembly and Repair Technician, we will assist in fully training you to carry out the requirements of this role, where you will be responsible for assembling, modifying, and repairing medical devices.
This repetitive role involves using various tools and equipment, to ensure products are built or repaired in line with strict quality and safety standards, while maintaining production efficiency, to contribute towards successful delivery of projects and services to our Rauland clients.
How would you contribute to our success?
By assembling modifying and repairing products in line with quality and safety processes and standards.
Through effective prioritisation of tasks and efficient practices to meet production schedules, and overall customer satisfaction.
By building strong, trusting relationships with internal teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative working environment.
Through open communication, escalating and proposing solutions to issues as they arise.
Proposing improvements that aid in enhancing productivity, quality, safety.
What will make your application stand out?
Your excellent communication and ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
Your proactive problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Your ability and experience with soldering activities and using Handheld Power Tools.
Previous work experience in a production environment preferably working with electronics, electrical or communication technology.
A Certificate III in Electronics & Communications or related qualifications (would be a plus).
Familiarity with (or previous exposure to) SAP or other inventory management tools is a plus.
Your ability to carry out basic tasks within Microsoft Office applications (Word & Excel).
Your previous and proven experience successfully working within both a team environment, and autonomously.
Your attention to detail, accuracy, and the pride you take in your work and keeping your workstation clean.
Your interest in personal development, and electronics.
