About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative team.
In this role, you'll design, implement, and maintain automation systems for industrial applications, collaborating with a progressive organisation recognised for delivering exceptional power solutions.
Key Responsibilities System Design & Development: Engineer custom automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Programming & Integration: Write and optimise automation code and integrate systems with industrial electrical setups.
Project Leadership: Manage automation projects from concept to completion, collaborating across engineering and production teams.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
Innovation: Drive advancements in automation technology to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to customise and implement solutions, providing training and ongoing support.
What You'll Need 5-7 years proven experience with automation systems such as Allen Bradley, Rockwell, or Schneider Electric.
Advanced expertise in PLC programming and SCADA design.
Solid understanding of Australian industrial electrical standards and automation best practices.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and clients.
Background in industries like mining, utilities, or manufacturing is a plus.
