Asphalt Plant Operator | Dandenong

Join Australia's Leading Sustainable Materials Supplier.
We are looking for an allrounder to join our Asphalt Plant team.
No experience necessary – we can train you!Based out of our Dandenong South Plant , you'll learn how to run and maintain an ASTEC 300 TPA asphalt plant.
You'll also have opportunities to be trained in other machinery and get the tickets and permits that come with them.
Work occasionally required at our other sites in Epping and Laverton.
What's in it for you: Starting rate between $29.44 - $37.03 per hour, pending qualifications and experience Daily allowance of $23.50 Day, night and weekend shifts available, as well as the opportunity for overtime Day shift starting times between 5am - 7am, pending workload and working between 8 - 12 hours Night shift as required and rostered throughout team - shift time on average 7pm - 3am, but can extend pending the job Uniform and equipment supplied An unwavering safety culture, and a positive team culture Ongoing training and development, in transport and other disciplines Enjoy problem solving Have a forklift, front end loader, bobcat tickets/experience Hold a valid drivers' licence (P-plates OK) Able to pick up new computer systems quickly Experience working with SWMS If you've previously run and maintained a large, fixed plant, that's great! But we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.
