The Industry Capability Network (ICN) is a leader in finding suppliers with the right capabilities and connecting them with projects. ICN helps project owners and buyers by researching and identifying local Australian companies capable of supplying specified goods or services. Public and private projects list Expressions of Interest on ICN Gateway (gateway.icn.org.au), increasing economic activity for local industry.
ICN South Australia is embedded within the Department of State Development.
About the role:
As the ICN Supply Chain Manager, you will proactively liaise with a wide range of strategic internal and external partners and key stakeholders, with a view to increasing SA industry's participation in local, national and global supply chains.
You will be working closely with, and utilising input from, key stakeholders to support local businesses to develop the capacity and competitiveness to capitalise on major projects that are underway, or in planning, in South Australia, promoting the transformation and growth of SA's major project supply chains.
This role will be the primary conduit for ICN projects and supply chains in key industry sectors, for example renewable energy, infrastructure, construction, mining, manufacturing and defence.
Key Competencies:
To apply and succeed in the role, you will have:
Sound knowledge of international, national and South Australian economies, including capacity of South Australian, Australian and NZ enterprises in the manufacturing and services sector and fundamental understanding of business finance terminology. High level expertise in the identification, analysis and assessment of opportunities across the multiple sectors within which ICNSA conducts daily business. Demonstrated experience in providing high level and strategic business analysis, risk and contract management services including the assessment of bids within major companies and the development of strategic options that relate to the assessment of project and procurement requirements, supply capacity and supplier facilities in the defence and other major sectors. Experience in working with key high-level stakeholders, within a complex and politically sensitive organisation, to lead and influence the development of commercial viability processes in association with a range of manufacturing professionals, and advocate for change in people's perceptions towards Australian based suppliers and initiatives. Ability to manage critical and complex programs and projects to time and cost constraints, whilst ensuring organisation wide strategies and objectives are achieved, including leading and developing teams, monitoring resources and providing high level guidance and support. Remuneration:
Competitive salary $121,107 min to $125,679 max pa plus superannuation
