About the Role: Are you passionate about driving change and creating a culturally safe work environment? The Department for Education is seeking a dynamic Senior Policy and Project Officer (Anti-racism) to join our high-performing Workforce Design team. This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead and contribute to meaningful work that addresses racism.
As the Senior Policy and Project Officer (Anti-racism), you will be at the forefront of delivering the Department's Anti-racism project. Working collaboratively within the Workforce Strategy Directorate, your role will involve:
Leading the design, initiation, planning, and implementation of key deliverables within the Anti-racism project.Providing expert advice on anti-racism policies, initiatives, and continuous improvement strategies.Building and maintaining strong partnerships across the department to ensure the project aligns with broader commitments and addresses system gaps.Supporting the department in meeting objectives outlined by the Office of The Commissioner for Public Sector Employment's Anti-racism strategy. Desirable Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification. Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: ASO7: $108,109 - $116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
