Department of State Development
Brand SA is responsible for protecting and strengthening the State Brand, ensuring it is grown as a key public asset.
The team works with industry, community and government to grow use of the brand, shaping positive perception of South Australia and enhancing the state's appeal as a place to do business.
The Marketing Lead delivers complex marketing and communications programs that drive coordinated use of the State Brand across government and business.
The role leverages insights and translates brand strategy into marketing campaigns and tangible brand assets to help (a) build the profile of South Australia; and (b) support the promotion of South Australian businesses locally, nationally and globally.
To apply and succeed in the role, you will have:
High level experience in developing and implementing strategic brand, marketing and communications campaigns across multiple markets.
Comprehensive knowledge of brand strategy and marketing science, and the methodologies required to develop, promote and grow a brand using contemporary marketing practices.
Experience in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative consumer research and the utilisation of data and information to inform decision making.
Demonstrated experience working with creative agencies and managing complex creative projects across campaign, graphic design, copywriting, photography and videography.
Ability to provide strategic, creative and innovative solutions to complex challenges and problems.
Remuneration:
Competitive salary $108,109 min to $116,864 max pa plus superannuation

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Business or related disciplines.
Special Conditions:
The role will be offered full-time (1.0 FTE), ongoing.
Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) required prior to employment.
