About the Role: The School and Preschool Financial Support Consultant works as a member of a team to provide advice, training and support to school and preschool staff in order to assist sites in the efficient and accurate management of school and preschool finances and resources.
The role contributes to and supports the achievement of the Finance Division's objectives and goals and contributes to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the School and Preschool Financial Services team.
Qualifications: Essential: Nil
Desirable: A tertiary qualification in accountancy, finance, economics, business management or a related field or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration: ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
