About theRole: TheSenior Site and Communication Officer is responsible for managingthe maintenance of the facilities and physical resources in theoffice.
The role manages all IT including information security,network management, database coordination, desktop hardware, mobiledevices and is the primary point of contact for help-desk functionsfor staff across Sport and Water Safety.
The Senior Site andCommunication Officer works in collaboration with the Departmentfor Education Communication unit to develop a communication planand manages School Sport digital platforms, creating and sharinginformation.
The role oversees the administration positions in theoffice determining workloads and reviewing procedures to ensure aproductive workplace.
Qualifications: Desirable: A tertiary qualification in communication or relateddiscipline or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions: Thesuccessful applicant is required to gain a Department for HumanServices (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to beingemployed which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated everythree years.
