About the
Role:
The
Senior Site and Communication Officer is responsible for managing
the maintenance of the facilities and physical resources in the
office.
The role manages all IT including information security,
network management, database coordination, desktop hardware, mobile
devices and is the primary point of contact for help-desk functions
for staff across Sport and Water Safety.
The Senior Site and
Communication Officer works in collaboration with the Department
for Education Communication unit to develop a communication plan
and manages School Sport digital platforms, creating and sharing
information.
The role oversees the administration positions in the
office determining workloads and reviewing procedures to ensure a
productive workplace.
Qualifications:
Desirable:
A tertiary qualification in communication or related
discipline or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions:
The
successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human
Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being
employed which is required to be renewed every five years before
expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC
(Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care)
Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online
(Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every
three years.

Remuneration:
ASO4
$75,430 - $79,070 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus
superannuation.
