About The Role The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing specialised, personal, confidential secretarial and administrative assistance and support to the Education Director, the Local Education Team (LET), Schools and Preschools workgroups, clients and stakeholders.
The Executive Assistant is the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders including principals, preschool directors, school and preschool staff, parents and state-wide support services, key state government agencies and Department for Education non-government partners.
The position is required to provide complex and comprehensive day to day quality responses which require high levels of time management, whilst supporting the achievement of broader Schools and Preschools division goals and objectives.
The position is required to contribute to the delivery and maintenance of efficient and effective work practices within the Schools and Preschools division.
Desirable Qualifications An appropriate tertiary qualification. Special Conditions The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration ASO3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
