About the job:
Our client is seeking researchers and/or case managers to join their growing Asia practice.
Ideal candidates will have experience in due diligence, ESG and Human Rights, disputes and litigation support, political risk, and/or investigative journalism.
Candidates from other backgrounds looking for a career change are also welcome.
The position offered will depend on the candidate's prior experience in a relevant field.
Key responsibilities:
Manage investigative assignments:
Conduct complex open source and human intelligence-led investigations, including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks.Report writing:
Produce concise and cogent reports that integrate research findings with in-depth contextual analysis.Client briefings:
Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients.Business development:
Prepare proposals for new business and support the development of the human source network in Asia.Team training:
Assist in training new team members and proofreading reports.
Required experience:
Language proficiency:
Fluency in English and at least one key regional language (Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa).Work experience:
1-4 years of full-time post-graduate work experience in corporate intelligence or a relevant investigative background.Research tools:
Experience using open source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva.Project management:
Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects.Educational background:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Technical Skills:
Professional proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
