Total Salary Package: $122,686 - $138,387 (plus 15.4% super)Canberra - ACT,Melbourne CBD - VICThe RoleThe duties of the EL1 Radio Frequency (RF) Security Specialist include the following (note: not all duties are required to be performed during a 12-month performance cycle):Actively lead and contribute to a growing discipline, including specialists who develop and deploy unique Australian EMSEC capabilities to resist attack from our most capable adversaries.Lead the design and build of innovative capabilities to enhance and scale the software, processing and hardware systems in lab environments and real world applications.Liaise with other ASD stakeholders on technical product assessment standards, threat modelling and EMSEC hardening of secure assets.Monitor evolving technologies and initiate risk mitigation processes and treatments using state of the art tools.Identify and lead technical research and/or development tasking to modernise Australia's EMSEC capabilities.Support the development and delivery of Australian sovereign EMSEC policy and training.About our TeamASD's Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) is seeking to fill a specialist role within the Emanation Security (EMSEC) team – Trust & Assurance (TA) Branch.
