4% Service Allowance (plus 15.4% Super)Brisbane CBD - QLD,Canberra CBD - ACT,Melbourne CBD - VICThe RoleCloud Automation Engineer As an ASD 5 Cloud Automation Engineer you would be required to coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
You will work alongside a number of cloud engineers and contribute to the successful delivery of platform solutions in support of ASD capability.
As an ASD 6 Cloud Automation Engineer you will (in addition to the above) work independently with opportunity for reasonable autonomy and accountability for the achievement of outcomes of their work.
You will work alongside a number of cloud engineers and contribute to the successful delivery of platform solutions in support of ASD capability.Both the ASD 5 and ASD 6 Cloud Automation Engineers work closely with the engineering teams and platform stakeholders to ensure the platform is meeting business requirements and functional specifications, including ongoing sustainment and technical feasibility of the platform.
They will contribute to strategic planning and be accountable towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.Successfully use and understand tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible.
Apply experience to contribute to successful utilisation of cloud resources such as virtual networks, storage, compute instances, and databaseDesigning and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.Participate in successful maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.Utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline to streamline development workflows.Responding to incidents and troubleshooting issues related to cloud infrastructure.Assisting with performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to avoid future incidents.Work collaboratively with stakeholders and subject matter experts to progress cloud business activitiesEnsuring compliance with national security regulations and standards such as the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP).Ensuring that cloud infrastructure complies with security standards and regulations, such as the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF).Ensuring cloud infrastructure adheres to governance policies and compliance requirements.Implementing policies and controls for data protection and privacy.Ensuring secure and efficient network communication within and across cloud environments.Cloud Infrastructure EngineerAs an ASD 5 Cloud Infrastructure Engineer you would be required coordinate and contribute to the work of a team consistent to a work plan and provide advice and assistance on methods of task completion to team members.
