Arts Industry Support Assistant (fixed term) Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society Deadline: 03 June 2024 at 10:00 Thousands of industry professionals from across the arts and screen sectors engage with the Arts Industry Team during the Fringe. Essential -Excellent administrative skills and keen attention to detail. -A polite, friendly and professional manner. -A motivated worker with the ability to solve problems and respond to changing priorities confidently and calmly. -Experience of working in a demanding and extremely busy environment. -Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. -Managing information across multiple software and databases. -Excellent English language skills. -Experience working in some capacity within the cultural industries; theatre, festivals, venues, cultural agencies. -A passion and understanding of the arts landscape in general. This may be of a particular sector or genre of work (for example: film/ tv, comedy, circus and physical theatre, dance, music or theatre). Desirable -Box office experience, preferably with Red61 Ticketing System -A local knowledge of Edinburgh and the Edinburgh Festivals. -Ability to speak a second language. -An in depth knowledge of the UK and/or International industry -Understanding of the Fringe Society and its role within the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The rate of pay for this post is £12.00 per hour (35 hours) between 08 July and 26 August. Prior to the festival starting, between 08 July and 26 July these hours will be worked over five days 10:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday. The deadline is Monday 03 June 2024 at 10:00. #J-18808-Ljbffr
