In the Arts and Culture team, you will play a crucial role in developing, facilitating and delivering engaging public-facing programs. Reporting to the Community Arts and Culture Activation Coordinator, you will work within a vibrant team to support community engagement and cultural activation projects.
The role We are seeking a Community Arts and Culture Activation Officer to join our Arts and Culture team. In this role, you will:
Facilitate the implementation and delivery of public-facing arts and culture programs and events. Coordinate administrative, communication, and logistical aspects of various activities to drive visitation and achieve cultural, social, and economic outcomes. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of programs and adherence to Council policies and procedures. Provide support in evaluating program outcomes and reporting on performance metrics to ensure alignment with best practices and Council's strategic goals. Actively contribute to the planning and coordination of community events and cultural initiatives that reflect the diverse needs of the community. About you We are looking for a candidate with:
Proven experience in facilitating and delivering community arts and culture programs. Strong skills in administration, communication, and project coordination. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple tasks effectively. A passion for community engagement and cultural activation with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes. What we can offer This is a full-time permanent position.
