Job description: Due to the rapid expansion in the number of students, Welight Art Space is actively looking to expand our team of dedicated art teachers. We are currently seeking passionate and experienced art teachers to join our institution and help nurture the artistic talents of our students.
Requirements: A strong educational background in art, such as a degree in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in the field of art or education. The ability to work collaboratively with a team to design and implement art curriculum. Adaptability in teaching a range of age groups, such as 4-6, 6-8, 9-12, and 13-18-year-olds. Ability and enthusiasm in teaching adults in painting, whether it's Acrylic or Watercolor. Proficiency in craft, sewing, textiles, or ceramics is a welcome addition, though not mandatory for this position. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging and interactive art lessons for students of various age groups. Foster creativity and critical thinking in your students, helping them explore and express themselves through art. Collaborate with the art department to design and improve the art curriculum. Provide constructive feedback and facilitate art reflection sessions for students. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive. Organise and participate in art exhibitions and events to showcase student work. Qualities we're looking for: Passion for art and a desire to share your expertise with students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. A creative and innovative approach to art education.
