This position is based in our Darwin Support Office in the Northern Territory.
About the Role:

We are looking for a confident and proactive Senior Accountant with relevant experience in a corporate environment. To be successful in this role, you will have the confidence to present to senior executives, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide coverage for the Finance Manager when they are on annual leave. You will benefit from on-the-job support and mentoring, and the opportunity to build your leadership experience and develop a career in finance. 
We are looking for someone who loves a challenge, is able to think quickly, identify an issue and propose solutions autonomously.  Your other responsibilities: Internal/external reporting, variance and cashflow analysis Yearly budgeting and forecasting Liaising with auditors Leading and managing a Finance Officer Create innovative ideas to improve process efficiencies About You: CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion) accountant with high level excel skills Highly organised, efficient with great attention to detail Proven people management and leadership skills and experience - committed to developing team members Proven record of success working in a fast-changing environment while improving processes For more information please contact the Recruitment Team on 08 8944 6444  or email to:

Our stores seek to offer customers a choice of quality fresh foods and an extensive range of merchandise in a modern, comfortable shopping environment. Maintaining this quality service is a costly and demanding task. It is undertaken without subsidy and with limited infrastructure in the most isolated regions of Australia.
