The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles.
This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.
About the role: MSS Security is looking for armed Security Officers to work at a corporate banking site in Sydney CBD.
The position is primarily responsible for providing security presence at the client site and to provide customer service to staff and visitors.
Your duties will be, and not limited to: Regularly patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of crime, unauthorized activity, or safety hazards.
Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required De-escalate situations and handle conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
Write reports in response to incidents Work with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Assist visitors and employees by providing information and addressing concerns while maintaining a secure environment.
About you: The roles is being offered as a full time security officer within the Sydney CBD with a stable roster (Monday - Friday : 6:00 to 15:00) ; 45 hours a week.
We are looking for: Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate Current NSW Security licence Gun license and advanced first aid Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability Nice Computer literacy skills The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment Master Licence Number: 408742075 How to apply MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
