We are seeking a strategic VP, People & Culture Business Partner Lead - APAC based in our Asia region preferably in Sydney to partner very closely with business leaders in the APAC region including India to accomplish the people and culture outcomes in the region by providing leadership to the people and culture business partners in the region.
What You'll Do Provides P&C leadership across strategic initiatives by partnering with leaders to examine the people impact of exploring new business opportunities or creating existing efficiencies/growth plans.
Acts as a strategic business partner to leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
Leverage data and people success analytics to assess trends, forecast workforce needs, and influence strategic decision-making for APAC needs.
Drive performance management and talent development best practices to ensure that talent is enabled to be successful in their current roles and develop them for future roles.
Provide proactive and strategic guidance and support for organizational planning and development and change management initiatives in support of key business strategies and initiatives in the region.
Partner and seek support from the talent and reward COEs to problem solve people's problems in the region that require support from the COE.
Acts as a trusted advisor working with leaders on their succession plans at multiple levels within the business; anticipates workforce issues and is proactive in developing plans to ensure effective workforce continuity.
Help leaders identify opportunities for changes within their groups.
Support them through the change by providing sound business recommendations considering talent and business requirements.
Bring awareness of competitive environments and market trends to inspire progressive initiatives.
What We're Looking For At least 15 years of relevant experience in human resources generalist/ business partner or similar role.
Need experience in Asia, India, and ANZ region and ability to work in a global environment with multiple stakeholders and working knowledge of laws and regulations of the region with a proven ability to manage executive-level partnerships across multiple functions in a global organization.
Ability to travel to cover the regional presence and needs.
Strong knowledge of generalist human resources best practices and/or expert knowledge in one or more human resources functional areas.
Strong business acumen: knowledge of business strategy, and key financial and business drivers.
Able to link people initiatives to business needs.
Commercial acumen to deliver thought leadership to the local and global businesses.
Ability to develop and implement HR programs and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
Relationship management and influencing skills.
