The Duke of Edinburgh Hotel is the Mackay region's oldest standing pub, originally opening in 1882. Owned and operated since 2019 by Lee and Coleen Skerman, we are looking for a passionate individual to join the current team and take the food to the next level. This is a small team, and the successful candidate must be willing and able to manage all aspects of a country kitchen producing some 500-750 meals per week. Simple food served fast is what we wish to achieve, with the menu based around the char grill. The successful applicant will work in conjunction with the Head Cook.
