The position works with multidisciplinary team and will implement community-based strategies for the early detection of skin and throat infections, ARF and RHD; adherence to treatment; improved health education and literacy; improved access to care; improved environmental hygiene.
This position will provide a health promotion/liaison service between the community and Congress, provide advice to the ARF/RHD team around cultural and community issues important to Aboriginal people, and provide support to facilitate targeted community outreach services across regions, including town and remote locations.For more information on the position please contact: ARF/RhD Coordinator, Bronwyn Silver on or  will close when a suitable applicant is found.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are strongly encouraged to apply.
