About the Role:
As an Area Sales Manager at LED Group, you will have the opportunity to shape your career and make a significant impact. Based in the vibrant Australian team, this role offers a unique chance to cover SE QLD, including the Gold Coast and Northern NSW, on regular call cycles. This role is perfect for you if you are a business development expert passionate about relationship building and growth.
In this role, you'll leverage your experience in the lighting industry or sales to the electrical wholesale sector to forge effective business relationships with key clients, wholesalers, contractors, and prospects. Your consultative approach will uncover and implement additional services to boost revenue opportunities, driving your success in this dynamic position. The role requires in-person visits to electrical wholesaler branches, electrical contractors, and site visits.
Your Responsibilities:
Proactive account management of clients Conduct visits to electrical wholesalers, contractors, and various sites. Build Relationships : Foster and strengthen relationships with wholesalers and contractors, ensuring long-term partnerships and loyalty to the ROBUS brand. Product Training : Educate clients and their teams on the features, benefits, and installation of our lighting solutions, ensuring they are well informed and confident in promoting and using our products. Promotions : Implement and monitor promotional activities, ensuring maximum visibility and impact in the marketplace. Product Placement : Ensure optimal placement and display of our products in wholesaler branches to maximise sales opportunities. Market Research : Gather valuable insights and feedback from clients and end-users to inform future product development and marketing strategies. Develop and expand existing client relationships by identifying opportunities and solutions. Identify and cultivate industry relationships with contractors and end users to drive revenue growth. Manage the sales project pipeline, guiding leads and prospects from initiation to order placement. Respond promptly to quotation requests. Support the Management in developing the next generation of market-leading products. Meet and exceed KPIs. Your Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in Business/Sales/Account Management with a stable employment history. Recent experience in the lighting industry or sales to the wholesale sector is highly regarded. Proven track record of initiating, developing, and maintaining long-term client relationships to meet sales targets. Electrical contractors with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn will also be considered. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to identify opportunities with existing and potential clients. Quick-thinking and decisive problem-solving skills. Outstanding client relationship management skills and a strong customer focus. Exceptional presentation and communication skills. Highly motivated, committed, team-focused, and reliable.
